The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening

This is the first game of The Legend of Zelda that came out on the Game Boy, it’s the first Zelda on a portable console and it was released in 1993, it has a different design in Japan where we see Link with the shield and the sword and a golden cover in Europe, America and Australia

United Kingdom(Great Britain)

The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening Sealed (United Kingdom)

I got this edition of The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening PAL UK sealed with the red Nintendo strip, In Europe in those years the UK was the only country that had this red strip. The UK version of The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening is the most common in Europe and it’s easy to find a good one for about £70.

The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (Spain)

The Spanish version of Links Awakening is quite rare to find, we can find it for an approximate price of € 150 but generally there are no offers in the market, in Spain the majority of Zelda Links Awakening that have been distributed were the version of the United Kingdom and Germany with Instructions in Spanish printed in black and white.

The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening Player's Choice (USA)

This is the Player’s Choice version that was released only in the United States, to me it seems the most beautiful of all. I got this in perfect condition in an eBay.com auction at $ 110 but I have seen it complete in worse condition for a price of $ 70 approximately, unfortunately it seems that the box of this game was very easy to lose paint and it is difficult to find it in good state.

The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening Bootleg Famicom (China)

The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening was distributed in China by a company called Shenzhen Nanjing Technology Co. Ltd. Its Chinese name is Feng Yin Dao (东方 的 传说 之 – 封印 岛) and it was released in 2005 for Famicom, the game is very faithful to the real Link’s Awakening but with a few changes, the enemies take a heart from you for each hit and are faster. The physical bootleg edition of this game is quite curious, on the cover we can see images of Zelda Four Swords, on the back cover of Zelda Minish Cap, only inside the manual can we verify that it is indeed a Chinese version of The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening
